A beautiful landscape deserves a beautiful frame and that’s exactly what we did. Sourced separately, we love the way this gilt oval frame highlights this stunning single tree casting a long shadow across a stretch of sunlit lawn. Layer in a gallery wall or hang it all on its own and let it shine! ✨

The oldest pup we’ve ever seen 👀

This incredibly detailed charcoal drawing of a spaniel immediately caught our attention while sourcing and we couldn’t believe its size or its date. It’s always a joy to come across art as old as this piece 🖤

Les Amours Pastorales — a vintage French tapestry in the Gobelins style, woven by Les Tapisseries d'Halluin in the north of France. A romantic landscape of a half-timbered watermill beside a stream, rolling hills and soft golden light beyond, all framed by a deep border of pink roses. The kind of panel that turns a bare wall into something with depth and warmth.

One of several new arrivals landing this week, sourced through the brocantes of southern France. A tapestry like this anchors a room the way little else can — over a console, behind a bed, or filling a long stretch of hallway.

Somewhere in the south of France, someone loved these pieces enough to keep them. 🎨

We found them at brocantes across Provence — antique and vintage art on canvas, board, and paper, framed and unframed, each one completely unique.

We don't know all their stories. But we know they deserve a chance to make new ones and have walls that appreciate them.

Tomorrow at 10AM EST, they could be yours. 🇫🇷

The cutest, tiniest, little Louis Philippe mirror with a faux tortoise shell sourced from a seller at the St. Ouen flea market. The classic curved frame profile is intact with some chips and cracks as seen. The original glass is desilvering beautifully 🤍

We think it’s small scale makes it easy to place on a windowsill, a narrow wall, a vanity, a shelf, anywhere. Works alone or grouped with other small mirrors or frames.

There’s something about roses in a simple glass that never tries too hard… and still wins every time.

This little still life has that quiet, golden-hour glow—the kind that makes a corner of a room feel warmer, softer, a bit more lived in. I love the contrast of the rich, almost moody background with the looseness of the petals… it feels romantic without being overly precious.

She’s small, but she holds her own. Perfect for a kitchen wall, tucked into a bookshelf, or layered into a gallery where she can catch the light just right.

A timeless one 🤍

The English Audubon. 1827. Life-sized. Hand-coloured by hand.

This is a original plate from Prideaux John Selby's Illustrations of British Ornithology — the first life-sized illustrated record of British birds ever published. Selby produced these from specimens in his own collection, and they are now genuinely scarce. This one is printed on Whatman paper with an 1827 watermark, and the hand-colouring is bright and unfaded after nearly 200 years.
We don't find pieces like this often. When we do, we don't sit on them.

New this week drops tomorrow at 10am. 🤍

A porcelain flush mount. A signed oil on canvas — roses on a gold ground. An opaline stem vase. A framed ornithological print. A mother of pearl inlay box with a bird motif.

None of it was designed to be trending. All of it will still be beautiful in twenty years — because it already has been for the last hundred.

That's the thing about antiques. They've already survived every trend that came before this one. They don't need to be styled a certain way to work. They don't go on sale because a season ended. And they don't end up in a landfill when the aesthetic shifts.

You're not buying a look. You're buying an object with a life behind it — and a long one ahead. Link in bio. 🤍
