Doug Hennessy started his dream of Hennessy Handcrafts at his property (Reachside) in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Doug's lifelong love of the arts found a new home here, as he began stretching his creative muscles outside of music and drawing, and into wood carving and leather tooling. Fast forward to the summer of 2020, as he began gifting his handcrafts to friends and family who all gave him

the same feedback, "...Wow. A workshop studio later, he has been producing pieces ranging from hand-carved spoons and bowls to custom belts, bracelets, and even garden tool holsters; maintaining the artistic spark that set him on the path in the first place. I got called on to make a special gift. I cut the hardwood blank today to make a "2 Shots" holder with tooled leather top and engraved shot glasses for a young couple that just got engaged.
I really liked how the last "2 Shots" worked out with deco shot glasses.
