Marlee’s love for designing and creating events has been evident since her childhood. It has led to the creation of Flowerella Event Florals and Co

ordination. Marlee began her career in 2009 in the business event industry gaining credentials along the way from Douglas College, Burnaby School Board, and CDI College for her Event Management and Coordination Diploma, as well as her Floral Certification. Marlee’s introduction to the industry began in 2010 when she was hired as a floral assistant at Bridal Beginnings Event Florals, and at Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club where she has a current position as their Special Events Manager. Along the way Marlee has been mentored by individuals with years of experience, learned the ‘ins and outs’ of wedding planning, and has made numerous connections and partnerships with other professionals within the industry. Marlee believes the foundation for success is building trusting relationships with clients as well as key vendors and venues. Her professionalism, patience and passion make the planning process fun and effortless. And most of all, making your event everything you have ever dreamed of.

Strategic floral design means your budget works harder.
It means choosing the places that matter most.
It means creating beauty that feels intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.

Statement florals aren’t about quantity — they’re about impact. And the mantle is one of the best places to make it.

Budvases and candlelight in downtown Vancouver — simple pieces that make the whole space glow.

There’s nothing better than creating beauty with talented vendors and bringing a couple’s wedding day to life, one delicate detail at a time.

The part of a wedding day no one sees — but everyone feels ✨
Day‑of coordination isn’t just showing up with a clipboard. It’s stepping into the heart of your vision and bringing it to life piece by piece.

From styling décor and placing every candle, to setting up your DIY items exactly the way you imagined… from managing timelines and keeping the day flowing, to being the point of contact for vendors and family so you can stay present… it’s the quiet, steady work that makes the magic possible.

It’s unloading bins, tying ribbons, fixing last‑minute details, answering questions before they become problems, guiding the wedding party, cueing moments, and making sure every part of your plan actually happens.

It’s ex*****on, intention, and care — all woven together so you can walk into your wedding day and simply breathe.

This is what day‑of coordination looks like.
This is what we love to do 🤍

I still can’t believe we got to live inside a day that felt this beautiful. From the quiet moments in the morning to the way the evening wrapped around us, it was a celebration built from love, intention, and every detail that felt like “us.”

Designing the florals and décor for my own wedding was something I’ll never forget—choosing each bloom, each texture, each colour with the hope that it would reflect the softness and joy of this chapter. Seeing it all come to life around us… it felt like stepping into a dream I’ve carried in my heart for years.

And then there were the moments between the two of us—little glances, hands finding each other, laughter that came so easily. Moving through the day together felt grounding and magical all at once.

Every photo holds a piece of that feeling: the love, the artistry, the intention, the glow.I’ll hold onto this day forever. The beauty, the emotion, the design, and the way it all came together in the most perfect, imperfect, unforgettable way.

Keeping hydrangeas hydrated is an art — here’s the little trick I use to keep them full, soft, and thriving all day.

1. Break up a cotton ball into small, fluffy pieces so it can easily tuck into the stem ends.
2. Locate your hydrangea stems within the bouquet bundle.
3. Trim the hydrangea stems shorter than the other flowers — this gives you space to hide the cotton later when you wrap.
4. Wrap the stems with floral tape up to the point where the cotton ball sits. This keeps the cotton secure and prevents it from slipping out.
5. Wrap your bouquet in your ribbon of choice for a clean, finished look.
6. Trim the remaining stems to your desired final length.
7. Celebrate your hydrated hydrangeas — voilà.

Why this works

Hydrangeas drink like champions. The cotton ball acts as a tiny reservoir, holding water right at the end of the stem so your blooms stay plump and happy even when they’re out of a vase.

Soft, romantic, and hydrated — exactly how hydrangeas should be.
