After a few false starts, and a lonnnng siesta from my wee business, I finally finished a plain ol' orange pine shelving cubby that had a chunk missing out of the top. A couple of ornate scrolls and center pieces, a lick of little black dress paint and a smidge of gilding and it's transformed.
Not for sale, but the first of a few units to display my smaller pieces better.
Still (!) in my dining room for now, but at least I have that space for customers to view items they've inquired after 🙂
