🎉 500 Challenges! 🎉

We're celebrating a pretty special milestone over at Hand Stamped Sentiments — our 500th challenge!

This time we're playing with a sketch, and I decided to get a little more Christmas card making done! 🎄

I used the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper and Scalloped Christmas Cheer Bundle from Stampin' Up! to create this festive card.

I love how the traditional Christmas colours work together, and of course, I couldn't resist adding a little texture!

One of the things I love about card sketches is how they give you a starting point while leaving plenty of room to make the design your own.

✨ I've shared more photos, details, and the challenge sketch over on my blog. You'll find the link in the comments!

Do you enjoy working with sketches when you're making cards?

Happy Stamping! 💕

🍂 A Little Autumn Inspiration Is Coming!

Who says greenery has to be green? 🍁

This week's Global Design Project challenge is all about GREENERY, and I'm giving it a colourful autumn twist!

I'll be combining beautiful fall foliage, gorgeous embossed texture, a soft vellum layer and a little gold foiling. ✨

Join me Wednesday at 7 PM Pacific as I create this card and demonstrate how to add a beautiful gold-foiled sentiment!

🎥 Watch on Facebook or YouTube!

Have you tried hot foiling on your handmade cards?
