Dear Diary,

Big news.

I've had an upgrade.

I now have a fold-down table right in the middle of the sofa.

It has cupholders.

It has a phone charging station.

Basically, everything my humans need is now within arm's reach.

Cold Drink? ✔️
Phone? ✔️
Snacks? Probably. ✔️
Reason to get up? Absolutely not. ❌

I'm starting to think this sofa may be less of a piece of furniture...
..and more of a lifestyle.

Dear Diary,

Thanksgiving dinner was a success.

Everyone ate too much.

Someone said, "I shouldn't have had that second helping."

Someone else had pie.

Then another person had pie.

And then...

They came for me.

Within minutes, I was fully reclined.

Feet up.

Belt loosened.

Eyes closed.

Apparently, this is what they call gratitude.

I'm honoured to be part of the tradition.
