This post is long overdue, but it’s been difficult to find a minute lately and just as difficult to find words.
Our little place at 595 Main Street in Powassan, has seen many changes in the last 38 plus years.
Over these years we’ve morphed from the “Willowbank Tea Room”, to “Stevann’s” a video and hobby store to, “The Shop” where we sold “a little bit of everything” from bait, licences, tackle, trinkets, decor, and so much more.
Along the way we’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people and made some beautiful lasting friendships. We thank each and every one of you for the time you spent in our little place, chatting, laughing, sharing stories, we cherish each one of you!
But now we are opting for another change, one that allows us to take a step back, spend more time with family.
Our quaint little place is closing as we are making room for someone whose venture is near to our heart.
Any of you who’ve been in probably know we have a love of dogs, and may have even been fortunate enough to meet my best pal, Ollie.
When our dear friend Kathy from Rescued Treasures and All Heart Pet Rescue needed a place, it seemed fitting that we help her out. We wish Kathy much success! 🐾💕
For those of you who will be looking for MNRF licences, we’ve passed that torch to the lovely Amanda at Oley's Armoury, and she should be up and running shortly.
It’s not been easy to pack things, there may have been some tears mixed with smiles at cherished items found that were long thought lost, but it’s time.
One never knows what life brings so we won’t say goodbye but for now, we’ll say see you later!
