I learned my upholstery trade in Edmonton, Ab with Vic's Upholstery. I loved old, second hand stuff and vintage furniture and at Vic's I learned the art of furniture restoration and many trade secrets that allowed me to expand my work. How to tie springs and re build furniture decks and diamond tuff to name a few. I totally enjoyed giving life back to these old relics that were built for a second
go round and making them beautiful and functional and of value again. I expanded my skills and learned how to do custom boat tops and all things marine. 30yrs later I have work from Alberta to Humboldt California. I have covered everything from boat interiors to tops, Airplane seats, furniture and everything in between. My work led to employment with Hotels, Restaurants, Whale watching tours and Charter fishing boats as well as a life-sized Teepee, Wall tent and other original custom works. The "Free Trade Agreement" signed in 1980, totally destroyed the Upholstery business from then on and buying from China was the way to go. However, we have seen how that has gone, we have thrown away our quality, manufactured in Canada furniture and goods and now replaced it with disposable junk. Now is a good time to start re-cycling and restoring that quality used furniture that has become as rare as upholsters. We can pick up and deliver and we are willing to travel to surrounding area's from Fraser lake to Pr Rupurt. We do Residential, Commercial, Marine, RV's, ATV's , custom projects and what have you.
