Story time: This was one of the hardest projects I’ve ever done.
I cried more than once working on this. Bumaha ng luha sa basement namin. Sleepless nights. Eyebugs. Name it. Imagine finishing an order, only to have your customer message you after the first wash saying the prints came off… and you don’t even know why. 😭 It happened not once but twice on this project. The only project that my prints came off.
Everything that could go wrong, did.
I had to redo the order multiple times, try new methods, and even explore embroidery just to make it right.
I rushed into it. Minadali ko, I was too eager to create something new. To explore.
I said yes without fully knowing if my machine could handle it. I didn’t research the material enough, kala ko kaya ko na lahat. There was a lot of hope and promises, but not enough preparation.
But by God’s grace, my customers were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding.
They trusted me through the process, and I will never forget that. Never ever. Sabi ko pag nagpagawa sila ulit sakin, libre na lahat. Imagine putting your trust to a nobody and actually realizing na hindi nya kaya, that they had to give me a couple of chances to make it right 😭
This experience humbled me so much.
It pushed me to learn, to improve, and to do better moving forward.
Grateful for the lesson. Grateful for the people. Grateful to God. Walang sayang na luha because of the lesson, the grace and the forgiveness behind it.
