This was 4 years ago! Time goes by fast and having these memories pop up on my phone makes me smile. We put this in the front flower garden and it’s still there although it could use another sanding and stain lol

The next build starts now.
These boards are about to become a pair of custom mid-century modern bedside tables.
On the right is Silver Maple, carefully sourced from The Country Sawmill in the Okanagan. Paired with locally harvested Birch from Prince George, this project brings together two incredible Canadian hardwoods each with its own unique grain and character.
I love building with materials that have a story. From the forests of Northern BC to the Okanagan, every piece of wood is chosen with intention.
Now it’s time to let the design take shape.
Stay tuned as these rough boards are transformed into something built to last.
