Tomorrow! 🎃🍁🥧💃 at the Pugwash Farmers' Market

Tomorrow is the last market day! Goodness time flew... Much like a witch on a goose! We are excited to continue on at the Hub throughout the winter. Check out our offerings for tomorrow, and another reminder we're closed on Sunday!

A wonderful evening of music in the barn with Rachael Kilgour. Thank you to Waldegrave for having us serve as caterers to this special night! The barn is a perfect setting for good music, good company, and snacks 🎶🌾🌜

Also our Cardamom Pod Cafe Instagram got suspended. We are planning to continue using the Pugwash Soap account for the cafe now indefinitely.

Really jazzed about our menu tomorrow. Come see us at the market!

🍎🍏🍎 Our market menu for tomorrow!

SO much local produce. We are really enjoying have a kitchen full of fresh veg and fruits from local producers to choose from when deciding what to make. We are especially excited about the apple cakes and focaccia (tried a sweet focaccia this week!).

I was gifted a Scottish baking cookbook and so have tried recipes from it--I'm impressed! It's a more subtle style where the flavour isn't so in-your-face but rather relies on nuttiness, subtle spicing, and less sugar than a lot of American/Canadian baking in general. And they have ridiculous names for everything so that just makes it better (next week I'm planning to bring a Guggy Cake aka a Huffsie aka a Doofie aka...reserving my judgment for the moment).
