Have you heard the exciting news? Our biggest sale of the year takes place this Saturday! In-person for one day only, you’ll find the return of many Faire Living favourites at 50-70% off, along with some lovely surprises in store, including a Paloma Floral Studio Pop Up with her fresh blossoms and flowers.

With hundreds of pieces on sale outside and our new Collection inside, it’s the perfect time to select a beautiful gift or a few thoughtful goodies for hosting over the weekend.

Is Wednesday too early to start counting down to the weekend? We hope not.

Our summer schedules may get filled all too quickly, but we’ll take full advantage of the blissful in-betweens, even if it is just for a moment 💛.

We choose our summer collection with this in mind. Inspired by finding joy and renewal amid an ever-filled days, pieces like our Japanese porcelain elevate simple (but necessary) rituals like a quick cup of something rejuvenating before the day sets in.

Trick question, where do French baskets come from? We'll give you a hint; it's not France 😉

While Brigitte Bardot popularised this quintessentially French accessory in the 50s (when she was photographed wearing one while barefoot in Saint-Tropez), every French basket you've ever seen is made in Morocco.

A artisan co-op makes our French Baskets in Rabat, where fair pay and sustainable practices are at the forefront of this women-owned workshop.

We'll warn you, though, when carrying a French basket, you may feel a sudden urge to fill it with pastries, cheese or w**e. We must confess that the almond croissants from always appear in ours rather spontaneously.
Our new French Basket collection arrives online this Friday but you can find them in our Qualicum shop already.

What does "intentional goods" mean? For us, it means acknowledging and using our purchasing power to benefit the workers and community’s from which our goods come.

For our artisans, it means earning a living wage in a positive and safe working environment. It means breaking the cycle of poverty and providing new hope and a sustainable income.

This is the heart of “intentional goods”; better work and a better world for exploited artisan communities across the globe.
