There’s something special about gathering around Wicks & Wax and simply taking a moment to pour happiness together. 🕯️✨

Last night’s class at Fenton | Cary, NC was truly amazing! We had the opportunity to meet some dynamic guests, share plenty of laughs, explore beautiful fragrances, and—of course—pour some AMAZING candles.

With so much going on in the world and in our everyday lives, creating a space where people can slow down, connect, create, and just enjoy the moment continues to spark joy for us. 💛

For us, candle making has always been about more than wax and wicks. It’s about the experience, the memories, and the people we meet along the way.

Advocacy has become an extension of her commitment to serving others—not only through business, but by helping create lasting change for communities here at home and around the world.

There was a time when I thought success meant saying “yes” to everything I thought was good for business.

Then life reminded me that time is our most precious gift.

A life-changing surgery made me slow down. The unexpected loss of a dear friend reminded me that tomorrow is never promised. Together, those experiences shifted my perspective in ways I never expected.

Now, I choose to be even MORE intentional.

Intentional with my time.
Intentional with my peace.
Intentional with the people I pour into.
Intentional with the work I create.

This photo captures more than a candle-making experience. It represents choosing connection over chaos, presence over pressure, and creating moments that people will remember long after the candle burns out.

As America celebrates 250 years, I’ve found myself thinking less about the passage of time and more about how we spend the time we’ve been given. Milestones remind us that legacies aren’t built by being everywhere or doing everything. They’re built through meaningful relationships, purposeful work, and showing up fully for the people and moments that truly matter.

So here’s to protecting your peace, investing your energy wisely, and creating a life that reflects your values—not your calendar.

Because at the end of the day, the people who matter won’t remember how busy you were.
