Looking for a fun, creative, and affordable summer activity for your child?

Join us at Family Ceramics & Gifts Raymond for five days of artistic fun! Our Summer Art Camp is designed for kids and teens ages 8–18 and is packed with hands-on projects that encourage creativity, imagination, and confidence.

✨ We'll be exploring:
🎭 Paper mâché creations
🏺 Sculpting projects
🎨 Painting techniques and colorful masterpieces

📅 Session 1: July 13–17
📅 Session 2: August 10–14

⏰ Monday–Friday
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM daily

💲 Only $120 per child for the entire week!
🎨 All supplies included.

Whether your child loves art or wants to try something new, this camp is a great way to learn new skills, make friends, and create projects they'll be excited to bring home.

Today I'm doing a quick little sculpt of these Manta Rays!

These are original designs by myself. I created them on just a piece of paper. Then, added tape to the bottom so that I could use it over and over without the paper getting damaged by the water from the clay. Once I cut out the pieces from my slab, then I just assemble them through scoring and slipping.

Next, I make sure to smooth out edges, sponge, everything down, add the eyeballs and mouth, and add the curves where they need to be. I love how these turned out and with some paint, they will come to life!

These pieces are for an order for the local grade three classes that want to learn more about ceramics! I'm really excited to teach them! Have a lovely day.
