This week, I had the honor of creating the floral arrangements for my grandfather's funeral.
It was my first time working with fresh flowers instead of my usual sola wood flowers, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

My Pépère was the one who taught me how to pick crocuses, so it felt important to weave pieces of him into these arrangements. As natural filler, I used raspberry canes from his beloved raspberry patch in town. I also visited the family farm where he was born, worked, and spent most of his life, gathering greenery and natural treasures from the pasture to incorporate into each piece.

Every stem was placed with love, and every arrangement tells a small part of his story.
Thank you, Pépère, for teaching me to work hard, appreciate God's creation, and always create with love. It was my greatest honor to create these flowers for you. ❤️
