Honoured to be present as history unfolded.
I witnessed the installation and swearing-in of Chief Lorilee Davies as the new Chief of Police for the Regina Police Service.

Chief Davies made history as the first woman to serve as Deputy Chief, and now becomes:
✨ The first female Chief of Police for RPS
✨ The first female Chief of Police in Saskatchewan’s history

Her remarkable career spans both uniform service and investigative plainclothes work — a true testament to leadership, dedication, and excellence in policing.

A powerful moment for Regina. A proud moment for women. A historic moment for our province.
