Are you getting new windows? 🪟

- If you're planning on keeping your existing window coverings, I'm sorry to say that they may no longer fit in your new windows. More often than not, new windows are slightly smaller than the existing ones. Even though it is slight, it can be enough of a difference that your old blinds won't fit anymore.

- IF, however, your existing blinds were previously mounted on the outside of the window, on the trim or the wall itself, you should be okay to go ahead and re-install them.

- As such, if you're budgeting for new windows, it is wise to also budget for new coverings.

- When it comes to buying new blinds or shades for your new windows, for us to get the precise measurements we have to wait until the new windows are installed.

- If you want to get a bit of a jump on things, we can do a consultation before the new windows arrive where you can select your new shades and we can provide a rough estimate.

- Then as soon as the new windows are installed we'll be back to take the measurements again, adjust the estimate if necessary, and get your shades ordered.

- This does mean that you'll be without blinds for a few weeks until the new ones are installed. If you need to cover some or all of the windows while you wait, we recommend a low cost, temporary, pleated shade available at most home improvement stores or online.

Some clients like to get other quotes and we always encourage it. Not because we want you to shop elsewhere, but because we think it can be a valuable exercise!

Comparing products, warranties, services, fees and pricing can help you make the best decision.

Ultimately, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we will do everything we can to make that happen. But if you find another quote meets your wants and needs better than our quote, we completely understand!
