To DIY or not to DIY? 🤔

Sometimes it just makes sense to have a professional do a project for you. You might very well be capable of painting your own room or installing your own blinds, but I guarantee it will take you longer than it takes the professionals to do the same job.

It makes sense. The pros literally do this all the time.

With years of experience, all the necessary tools, and the knowledge to adjust accordingly to get just the right fit, our installers will ensure you are satisfied with your final project.

But that’s not even the best part.

Our basic installation services are free of charge!!! (Minimal fees apply to extraordinary installation situations).

We love happy clients!

We met Amy & Erwin at the Spring Home Show. They had recently moved into their house and determined the existing window coverings needed an update. They also knew they wanted a blackout option in the living room and a couple bedrooms.

They chose a modern grey Dual Shade for every window with a blackout Roller Shade behind the Dual Shade for the rooms that needed room darkening.

Since the windows didn't have enough depth for the shades to be mounted inside the window, all of the blinds are mounted on the outside, covering the window trim on all four sides. While inside mount is generally preferred, sometimes outside mount is the only option, and we think the final result looks great!

Design inspiration can be found everywhere these days!

If you've already got some ideas of what you like and what you don't like before we come for a consultation, that can be quite helpful. With so many options available it helps us narrow down the search.

We like to present you with the pros and cons of all of our products. Unfortunately, sometimes that means the ideas you had in mind aren't really the most practical or most affordable options, and sometimes that means they won't actually work at all 😩

We will do whatever we can to work within your vision. Ultimately though, if we just can't provide what you're looking for, we are happy to refer you elsewhere, because at the end of the day we just want you to be happy!

We first met the Rymes Family about a year and a half ago when they called us needing blackout shades in their second floor bedrooms.

This Spring they called us again to address the windows in their newly enclosed sunroom/workspace. Since this is a southwest-facing room, they needed something that would cut the heat and sun. These screen shades work perfectly while still allowing them to see out so as not to feel closed in.

The Rymes' were pleased with how everything turned out and kindly agreed to host one of our lawn signs for a few days!

We met Angela from Klemenz Bros Homes Inc. in Moose Jaw at the 2024 Home Show. She told us they were just completing a show home that needed window coverings.

These beautiful Maxxmar Sunset Shades are just the modern update this house needed!

Our clients had two major requests: one full shade on the living room window (as opposed to 3 separate shades), and a blackout shade to combat the heat. With the living room window being over 110" wide our options were limited.

We made it work with a white Sunset Shade in the front and a light grey blackout Roller Shade behind. The shades in the kitchen didn't need blackout Roller Shades, so the Sunset Shades work perfectly on their own, in the same fabric as the living room shade to give a nice, cohesive look in the open concept living room and kitchen.

The end result is perfection and exactly what the clients were hoping for. Thank you Nels & Noreen, we had so much fun helping you see your vision come to life!
