Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours! 🤎🍂

Anyone who follows us, knows how obsessed I am with our home. Some days, I want to walk around and just hug the walls. Not joking. It’s where we gather, share meals, make memories and enjoy all the little moments that make life so special.

Your home is your story book of life and we never take our clients for granted. We are so thankful for our wonderful clients who invite us into their homes, trust us with their dreams and allow us to be a small part of their stories.

Wishing you a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with good food, great company and all the comforts of home.

Ps. Light the candles🤎

With love,
The HEI Studio 🤎

That time we removed an awkward closet and replaced it with a three-piece bath and removed the existing three-piece bath and turned it into a new mechanical room.

How else were we going to supply heat and a/c all year round in our ?

Part 2 of our Alta Vista Project ~ Kitchen and Dining area.

We had a lot of design restrictions but we made her kitchen bright and functional for years to come. We can’t wait to design the built-in upholstered bench in the dining area. We already know it’ll become the favourite nook in their lake house.

Enjoy the transformation 😍

Looking at renovation quotes can get confusing fast.

One looks cheaper. One has way more detail. One leaves you wondering what’s actually included.

And honestly? That’s a normal place to get stuck.

The number matters, of course. But so does what’s behind it. A quote should help you understand the plan, the expectations, and what could affect your budget along the way.

Before you pick the lowest price, take a closer look at what you’re actually comparing.

One of our favourite ways to help you transform your space—and finally step off the design fatigue hamster wheel.

We take care of every detail, question, and decision (and we genuinely enjoy the process). No need for note-taking or trying to remember it all—we’ve got you covered.

After your consult, you’ll receive a beautifully organized recap email with everything we discussed, so you can revisit and reference it anytime. And if questions come up later, we’re still here for you.

Our goal is simple: we want you to truly love your space when it’s all said and done.

Ready to see your home with fresh eyes? We’d love to help. Booking link in profile!

We had no idea when we designed this space 5 years ago just how incredibly useful this back kitchen would be for our busy family of 5.

The tall pantry cabinets divide the 2 spaces to maximize space and function. One side of the cabinetry is pretty and the other side is functional because what you see most, matters most.

This has become our breakfast kitchen. It houses our freezer, microwave, all our small appliances and our beloved moccamaster coffee maker.

I tell clients all the time, “yes, it’s an investment but when designed well, you will never, ever regret the investment!”

Absolutely zero regrets turning into something really special. We spend a lot of our life here. It deserves the best.

Buy the larger rug!!! Your space will thank you.

We’ve seen it over and over again and we know the “why” behind purchasing the smaller rug. It came down to cost over size but size does matter more than you think!

A smaller rug may cost less but it impacts the overall feel of the room. It will always make the space feel not quite right. 🤔🤨

Psst…..it’s the small rug;)
