We had no idea when we designed this space 5 years ago just how incredibly useful this back kitchen would be for our busy family of 5.

The tall pantry cabinets divide the 2 spaces to maximize space and function. One side of the cabinetry is pretty and the other side is functional because what you see most, matters most.

This has become our breakfast kitchen. It houses our freezer, microwave, all our small appliances and our beloved moccamaster coffee maker.

I tell clients all the time, “yes, it’s an investment but when designed well, you will never, ever regret the investment!”

Absolutely zero regrets turning into something really special. We spend a lot of our life here. It deserves the best.

Buy the larger rug!!! Your space will thank you.

We’ve seen it over and over again and we know the “why” behind purchasing the smaller rug. It came down to cost over size but size does matter more than you think!

A smaller rug may cost less but it impacts the overall feel of the room. It will always make the space feel not quite right. 🤔🤨

“Sorry to text on a Sunday. Girls won provincial championships last night and we hosted the parents after. At one point we had 34 adults in the main area. Most comfortably seated. Some dancing. And yet allllll the room. My heart was so happy to be able to have that space last night to entertain so comfortably. Thank you again - everyone was so in awe with your masterpiece ❤️”
