Happy Thanksgiving!
Douglas Recreation is feeling thankful to Keith at Gourley’s Outdoors for asking us to run his Annual Bake sale this year as the funds raised will go towards finishing the renovations at the Douglas Outdoor Rink.
Now, we just need some bake goods to offer at this very busy event so we are putting out a call to the local community to dig out their favourite recipes. A few ideas are pies, cupcakes, cookies, squares, muffins, buns, breads, pickles, preserves.
We have 3 dropoff options to get us the delicious goods (see poster) or we can arrange pickup as well.
We know people are busy, so we can even cut, portion and package things if needed.
