COOL FIND 😎 White Glass Button

Single Hole Structure: Vintage buttons often feature a single central hole if they are designed to have a metal loop (called a shank) attached to the flat back. Over decades in the ocean, the metal shank completely rusts away, leaving behind just the solitary hole in the center of the glass or ceramic body.

Often called "calico buttons" common in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Because they are highly durable, they frequently wash ashore intact on beaches in the Bahamas after tumbling in the Ocean for generations.

Ravishing Red ♥️
I have been searching for 20 years for a red piece of sea glass and this morning the ocean gave a beautiful gift during my sunrise walk in New Brunswick. The red along with orange, yellow, gray and teal will be on display as part of my Rarity Chart Display at the Saint John Seaglass Festival
