“Somewhere on the Coast”

You never know what you might see when you sit at the beach and observe. That has been the case for me many times at this specific one. But what sparked me was seeing one curious & solo baby deer come down from the forest to play in the waves. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever witnessed. So this painting was inspired by that.

I had to add some other birds I frequently see down here on southern V.I. 🦅🪶🌊

A lil fun one , I don’t usually paint the face on but after I finished the bird, it felt silly to have the human not have a face, but the bird does…. So I decided to make them look kinda similar for a wierd sorta vibe..? But yeah!! Girl surfing on a whale, you don’t see that every day.

“Harmony” 🩷🐬🌊🌕
I had no plan going into this painting, at first I just wanted to paint big pink fluffy clouds. But as I let my creativity flow each time I picked up a brush, I kept envisioning more, letting my brain and hands work together as best they could. Creating doesn’t have to be daunting all the time, let yourself have fun and feel your flow 🌀

I had no plan going into this painting, at first I just wanted to paint big pink fluffy clouds. But as I let my creativity flow each time I picked up a brush, I kept envisioning more, letting my brain and hands work together as best they could. Inspired by the glow of the summer sun, the waters that look so inviting yet send a chill down your spine as you enter, cooling you from the warmth of the rays. A perfect picnic lunch spot, away from the busyness of society, nestled in with the harmony of the birds. A breath of actual fresh air, and a gauranteed sunburn on your nose, but the kind that makes your freckles pop. The day you wish never had to end. 🌞🛶
