Our modern 23,000 square foot, purpose-built manufacturing plant is located on seven acres of land in Calgary. The facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art systems such as the Wizard perimeter-definition layout tables working in combination with computer-generated laser projections. This configuration allows for a truss table to be set-up in 10 - 30 seconds directly from computer-generated design drawings resulting in outstanding efficiency and unparalleled quality. Design and manufacture of wood trusses is accomplished using industry leading design software and computer-driven automated manufacturing equipment supplied by world leader Mitek Canada, Inc. We are also partnered with another world leader, iLevel® by Weyerhaeuser for the design and supply of our Engineered Wood Products. The company is a past winner of the Canadian Home Builders Association – Calgary Region SAM Award for Manufacturer Partner of the Year. We are members of the Western Wood Truss Association – Alberta, Canadian Home Builders Association – Calgary Region, Calgary Construction Association and APEGGA. Tech-Wood participates in Alberta Human Resources and Employment's Partnerships in Health and Safety program and has been COR certified for many years.
