I'm working on an oil portrait commission right now! However, while the last section I painted dries, I'm going to sketch out my next 5 ornaments!

I do need to wrap up the garden before hockey season starts as well, however I just want to sneak away to the studio every chance I get!!

I'm really pleased to share my latest painting!!

This painting was started during a workshop Station Arts Centre Co-operative led by the talented Cam Forrester last month! I spent 6 hours painting outside +completed touchups after in studio.

I'm still deciding on the frame. Is it too much?!

Working on painting with speed and capturing things from life! I'm hoping to spend my days off making more of these 30 min oil painting studies. :)

Far from perfect but I think that's part of the beauty of it. ❤️

Happy Easter! 😊
