Call for Artists: Charlottetown Library Mural! 🎨

The City of Charlottetown is inviting professional artists and artist teams from across Canada to apply for a public mural commission at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, located at 97 Queen Street.

This opportunity will include the design and creation of a large scale, site specific mural on the exterior of the library.

The mural is expected to be installed and painted on site in the Summer or Fall of 2026 and will remain on public display for 5–10 years.

The commission will be awarded through a two stage, open selection process, beginning with an expression of interest.

Stage one applications are due: Thursday, May 28, 2026.
