I didn't know this until the Oscars, but KPop Demon Hunters, the record-breaking 2025 Netflix animated hit, has deep Canadian roots. It was co-created and directed by Toronto-raised Korean-Canadian Maggie Kang, a Sheridan College graduate. The film was largely animated in Vancouver and Montreal by Sony Pictures Imageworks and features Canadian voice talent. Amazing!
