Spending $200K on your home? There are a few things I’d tell you to skip.

💠 Choose finishes room by room without a whole-home plan. Everything needs to work together.

💠 Spend heavily on finishes while ignoring the layout. A beautiful room that functions poorly is still a poorly designed room.

💠 Follow a trend just because it’s everywhere. Your home should still feel right five, ten, even fifteen years from now.

💠 Make you choose between 30 versions of the same thing. My job is to narrow the options and make the process easier.

💠 Design a home that looks like my portfolio instead of yours. Your style, your lifestyle, your home.

A $200K renovation is a significant investment. You should know exactly why you’re spending it.

That’s what good design should do.
