We had a little extra time today, so Angie started pairing Leo & Roxy Yarn Co. Mohair/Silk with each of the Noro Kakigori colours…

…and then we spent the rest of the day just staring at them. 😂

Honestly though, the combinations are SO good. A little fluffy halo paired with those bold Kakigori colours? Perfection.

Upcoming Classes at Little Red Mitten! 🧶

Ready to learn something new (or build on what you already know)? We’ve got a lineup of classes to help you level up your skills — all in a cozy, welcoming space.

INTRO TO LACE - May 2: 9-11am
Think lace is only for tiny needles and barely-there yarn? Think again! In this class, we’ll be working with worsted weight yarn and 5mm needles to explore how increases and decreases can create an open, decorative fabric.

GRANNY SQUARE SEAMING - May 5: 5:30-7:30pm
You’ve made the squares… now what? There are so many ways to join them! Angie will walk you through 4 different seaming methods and help you decide which one works best for your project.

INTRO TO CABLES - May 27: 5:30-8:30pm
We’ll cover the basics of cables, how to read charts, and then you’ll create your own sampler featuring:
• Wide rope cable
• Right & left rope cables
• Staghorn & reverse staghorn cables
• Right & left braid cables
