The New York Life Insurance Company building, with its Gothic Revival style architecture designed by Cass Gilbert, was completed in 1928 and takes up one entire block in New York City.

Dickies Arena in Fort Worth was built to integrate with its neighbors. Architect David M. Schwarz designed the facade in a Southwest Art Deco style that echoes the 1930s buildings across the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus, pairing warm toned brick with dark Picasso™ granite for the base and planters resulting in a building that reads as though it's always been part of the local architectural vernacular.

Battlestar Galactica was filmed here because of its futuristic design. Simon Fraser University's Brutalist plaza was renewed with 193,600 square feet of Polycor granite after the original precast concrete pavers failed due to the abundance of moisture in the Pacific Northwest climate. The patchwork of Cambrian Black™, Picasso™, Bethel White™, and Barre Gray™ conveys a dark-to-light ‘dissolving’ effect that the landscape architect John Wall designed the project around.
