Today, we recognize Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the families and communities impacted by residential schools.

🧡 His Bead Store is OPEN today until 5:30 PM.

We encourage everyone to wear orange today and take time to listen, learn, reflect, and remember.

We were honoured to present two $1,000 scholarships — one to Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools and one to Saskatoon Public Schools.

These scholarships will support Indigenous Grade 12 students who are graduating from high school and continuing their education in business.

At His Bead Store, we believe in investing in the next generation and creating opportunities for Indigenous youth to pursue their goals, further their education, and become future leaders in business and in our communities.

We are incredibly proud to give back in this way and support the success of Indigenous students. 💙

We look forward to celebrating the scholarship recipients and seeing where their education and future careers take them!

Thanks to His Bead Store for continuing to offer the Robert (Bob) Mcleod Memorial Scholarship for 2 graduating Indigenous high school students at GSCS pursuing business education! Director of Education François Rivard (right) attended the client appreciation BBQ this past weekend.

Application information will be posted on the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools Foundation Inc. website: https://gscsfoundation.com/scholarships-and-awards/
