Our Prince Albert studio team had a busy day of celebrating projects in the community on Friday! ❤️

10 years ago we worked with Ronald McDonald House SK designing the RMH Family Room in the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. It was the first of its kind in Saskatchewan - dedicated to both supporting families in the north & the house in Saskatoon.

A decade later, we are proud of the incredible relationship we have built with RMH and are excited for the opening of two new houses in Prince Albert and Regina in early 2027 and still to come a new family room opening in the Victoria Hospital addition!

Congratulations on 10 years… you have made a difference for countless families not only in Prince Albert and the north, but throughout our entire province ❤️ We are grateful to have been a part of this journey!!!

Our aodbt team was thrilled to be a part of the celebrations today with Métis Nation–Saskatchewan at the opening of the new Prince Albert Ma Faamii and Early Learning Centre. It was a fantastic morning, not only celebrating the opening of this important centre for Métis Nation Saskatchewan but also an opportunity for our community team to learn, celebrate Métis culture and build relationships in our community.

With the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 approaching, we are taking time to reflect on the relationships we have built and the lessons we have learned through our work with Indigenous communities over the years.

For more than 45 years, aodbt has had the privilege of working alongside Indigenous clients and communities across Treaty territories. These relationships have shaped our work, challenged our thinking, and taught us the importance of listening, learning, and working together.

"The most meaningful part of working with Indigenous clients and communities has been the relationships. I've learned that listening goes a long way and that there is always more to learn. For me, Truth and Reconciliation is about showing up with respect, keeping an open mind, and working together toward a better future."
Dallas Huard | Principal | Architect

On September 30, we will join others across the country in honouring the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. We take this time to reflect on the lessons we have learned and the journey of reconciliation that continues through listening, learning, and building meaningful relationships.

Learning from the people shaping the future of healthcare facilities.

Our aodbt architecture int design team is in St. John’s this week for the 2026 CHES National Conference, connecting with healthcare leaders, engineers, designers and facility professionals from across Canada.

From resilience and sustainability to technology, operations and the evolving needs of healthcare environments, there’s plenty to take back to our work at home in Saskatchewan.

Great conversations, new perspectives.

We were thrilled to be a part of the event announcing the "Moose Woods Child & Youth Centre for Resilience" - an amazing partnership between Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation , Whitecap Dakota Nation & Saskatoon Tribal Council. This centre focusing on wellness & mental health for children and youth will be the first of its kind in our province. It's an amazing project that aodbt is proud to be a part of ❤️

The Hadley is a six-storey, 162-unit residential development in Saskatoon's Forest Grove neighbourhood, offering a range of rental suites from bachelor to three-bedroom layouts. The building was designed to establish a strong presence along the three streets bordering the site while creating a private courtyard for residents to enjoy. The development incorporates principles of accessibility, universal design, and adaptability, supporting a range of lifestyles and housing needs.

The Hadley balances a neighbourhood setting with modern living. The development features a heated underground parkade, fitness centre, cinema, games room, co-working spaces, and an outdoor courtyard complete with BBQs, a fire table, and a putting green.

We're proud to have partnered with WestCliff Developments and Wright Construction on a project that brings new housing opportunities and thoughtfully designed living spaces to the Saskatoon community.
