Back by popular demand this summer! My color-changing headbands with an attached flower! 🌺 So cool - they change colors in the sun!! 🌞

I’ll be at Pope John Paul School gym on Arlington in Saskatoon, Sk. on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m with these and a couple other new, unique hair and tie clips for girls and boys.

You can find me there with my daughter, Kristin, from Limitless Love Kreations who will have her handmade jewelry and my 8-year-old grandson back with his diamond art homemade greeting cards!

There will also be a celebration of the Kistikan Park upgrade along with a concession, food vendors, and other craft vendors as well as some other activities for the kids. Something for the whole family so if you are looking for something fun to do, we hope you’ll join us there!

As promised, here is the final reveal of my niece’s first sewing project of learning to sew with me! She did such a great job and I’m so proud of her and her work! We had so much fun 🤩 and there will be more projects coming! 🥰

If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, May 23, 2026 and are in the Saskatoon area, come by Pope John Paul II to check out all the food and craft vendors in the school gym. My daughter, my grandson and myself will have a couple craft tables there and would love it if you’d come by, check out our work and say hi! Also there will be a concession and things for the kids to do outside to celebrate the new Kistikan Park upgrade in Eastview! A family fun event for all to enjoy!

A little behind the scenes. I’ve been teaching my niece, Colby, how to sew. I’ve been sewing since I was a little girl but I never thought of myself as a teacher. Well either I’m a really good teacher or she’s a really good student, or maybe it’s a combination of the two but wait until you see the end result of her first project with me. She’s done a really good job and we’ve had a lot of fun and laughs together along the way. We found out that we have more similarities than we realized and not all my good traits to which she’d always say “oh did I get that from you too? - thanks Auntie!” Lol 😂. One of those traits happens to be perfectionism, to which I’m teaching her “progress over perfection” and “you’re just learning”. Another trait is indecisiveness so it took us 4 hours just to pick out supplies and then Colby had to keep bringing us more options!! lol. However, we did agree that I’m teaching her how to sew, so I guess she’s still looking for my good traits she inherited 😂
She’s hilarious and a joy to be around though, and this is just the first of many projects we’re hoping to do together.

Almost done her first project so will post in a few short weeks.

I went out of my comfort zone and took on a challenge just before Christmas for a customer who wanted to give these as Christmas gifts 🎁. I made the applique letters from her childrens’ clothing and satin stitched them onto her sweatshirts using my regular sewing machine. I was presented with a few challenges and it wasn’t an easy project, but with determination and commitment, I accomplished the goal! 💝🪡🧵

On behalf of my daughter, Kristin from Limitless Love Kreations, my oldest grandson, Declan (her son), and myself, Darlene from Seams Sew Darlin’, we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us at the Preston Park I Craft Sale hosted by the Eastview Community Association on Saturday, November 22nd! Whether you purchased from us, admired and complimented our work or just came to browse around, we are sincerely grateful to all of you! Declan stole the show by selling out of his handcrafted diamond painting greeting cards by noon! Thank you so much to everyone! We are so very grateful for your support and look forward to our next show in the new year!! 💝

Also we want to extend a big thank you to Pat Peever our Social Coordinator of ECA for coordinating the craft sale as well as Kristen from Preston Park I for making it possible for us to host a craft sale there! Thank you to both of you for a job very well done! 💝
