Form + Function has a brand new look and a fancy new website to showcase it!

Working with has absolutely been, as Jess called it, a labour of love. She cracked my head open and took all of those ideas and vision and made something tangible, beautiful, and so functional!

It truly reflects my vision for the values and vision that I hold dear for the future of this dream of mine 🩷

Oof 2025.

They say that there really is no growth without discomfort and I must have spent this year in a state of growth because wow, was that ever uncomfortable.

 

I know that to an outsider looking in, 2025 was an incredible year for me.  I was absolutely crazy busy. I had an overflowing roster of cool projects and the incredible projects from 2024 came to life.  I did a record number of camping/ski/vacation trips with my amazing family and friends.  Don't get me wrong - there was so much joy in 2025 but to be completely honest, joy was often overshadowed by burnout and overwhelm.

 

When I think of this past year, it's so hard for me not to associate these last twelve months with those negative feelings - overwhelm, burnout, failure.  (That third one's the biggie for me!)

 

2025 taught me a LOT: about work, life and who I am.  These last couple months have taken me on a journey of self-reflection and redirection and I'm so excited to come back a little different in 2026, in a much more sustainable way. I know the path forward, and I'm so excited to share it with you very soon!

 

Thanks, year of the snake.

The Powder Room... But make it a vibe.

You know when you go to a restaurant and the design is cool, it's nice, food is good, whatever...... But then you go to the washroom and you think "Ooooooh, I didn't know THIS was here!"

More and more clients are wanting that feeling in their homes and why not?! The powder room is a small space that is low risk but big impact.

Wallpaper, tile, and a new countertop transformed this formerly purely functional space into one of those "ohhhh, this is cooool" moments.

Let this be your sign to take the risk.
