Hi, I’m Brooke! 👋🏻🌸

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself, so let’s fix that!

I’m the manager and the face behind the social media here at Funky Petals Sherwood Park. I’m also Laurie’s daughter, a wife, a mom of two busy boys—and someone who genuinely loves being part of this beautiful little flower shop.

You’ll usually find me helping customers, answering messages, creating content, planning our next fun idea or jumping in wherever I’m needed. I love getting to know the people who walk through our doors and helping make life’s moments—both big and small—a little more beautiful.

This shop is so much more than flowers to our family. It’s our home away from home, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who shops local, follows along and supports us. 🫶🏻

HOW IT STARTED ➡️ HOW IT WENT 🌸🫶🏻

What an incredible evening at the Glenridding Summer Market! The turnout was AMAZING and we had the absolute best time meeting so many wonderful people from the community. 💕

A huge thank you to Rohit for having us and allowing us to be a part of such a great evening! Our flower bar was BUSY, our buckets were emptied, and our hearts were full. 🥹💐

We hope to see some of your faces pop into the shop soon — and you never know where we might POP UP next! 👀🌸

Sometimes flowers have to look a little different. 💙

When we heard this recipient had just undergone a double lung transplant and couldn’t have anything living around them, we knew we still wanted to create something beautiful to celebrate such an incredible milestone.

So we got creative. We gathered faux stems we’ve saved and used in some of our beautiful past pieces and created something that could safely be enjoyed during recovery.

Because some moments deserve flowers — even if they aren’t the kind that grow. 🥹

You did it. New lungs, a new chapter, and so much to celebrate. 🫁💙

Known offences include:
🌸 Caring way too much about every order
🌸 Making sure every detail is just right
🌸 Treating customers like friends
🌸 Going the extra mile when she absolutely does not have to
🌸 Taking “it’s just flowers” a little too personally 😂

Sentence: 25+ years of making people’s days a little brighter. 💐

And unfortunately… there are no signs of rehabilitation. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Each scent has its own personality AND the cutest little details on top. These are the kind of candles you buy as a gift… and then accidentally keep for yourself. 😂

People ask us… do you waste a lot of product?

The answer is truthfully, no! 🌸

Our incredible team has gotten our ordering system almost down to a science. Our goal is to not carry “old” product over from week to week, because we want to make sure everything leaving our shop is at its freshest.

It’s taken a lot of skill, planning and self-control to get here 😂 and we’re forever grateful for our team for keeping our ordering under control!

Because flower shopping problems are REAL. “Ohhhh, we need those too!” 😂🌷

A little peek at what we had left at the end of this week… I’d say we did pretty good. 👏🏻
