There’s a first time for everything.
A customer dropped off some brand new tools for sharpening yesterday.
Although I was a little confused at first I’ll have to admit that after looking at the cutting edges, I understand why he wanted them sharpened. He was going to be cutting through tree roots and the tools had a very blunt edge from the factory.

I got these sharpened up so they should easily cut through tree roots!

Pico is one of my favorite recipes to make when it gets hot out. I make a huge bowl and we can make an entire meal out of it.
Slicing and dicing everything really fine is the secret and a razor sharp Japanese nakiri makes it seem easy.
And it’s an excuse to drink tequila.

Ouch!Even this type of damage can be repaired. This knife was sharper than new when I was finished!

A few knives from different customers this week that needed some repair.

If your kitchen knives aren’t cutting all of the way through to the cutting board, send them my way and I can get them back to the correct shape.

Repairs like this take a bit of time and a significant amount of steel has to be removed but it will make using your knives enjoyable again!

If your knives aren't performing a well as they used to, contact me and I can get them sharper than new!
I can sharpen Western and Japanese knives.
Western knives are $1.50 per inch of blade length, Japanese and serrated knives are $2 per inch.
