I was asked what advice I'd give to someone looking to be more mindful of how they shop for and decorate their home.

Here’s my take on it—Mindful design starts with curiosity.

You'll know you're on the right track when you get curious about how materials are processed and manufactured. If you can minimize the number of steps between the raw materials and the finished product, and how far away it is from you, then your choices are making the most significant impact! If that is not feasible, then seek to re-invent something that already exists.

Also, don't chase trends. I know designers always say this, and it's for a good reason. Chasing trends keeps you stuck in the recent past. You'll feel 'with it' for a year, then quickly feel unoriginal. Always follow your fear and trust in what stimulates you emotionally and intellectually – that is what makes spaces iconic and memorable.

What I love most about this design is the harmony of contrasts: soft curves meeting strong lines, earthy textures alongside vibrant pops of color. A little throwback to one of our most creative projects for !

Designing for this festival is like stepping into a playground for the bold and the unconventional. It’s where imagination takes the lead, and limits don’t exist.

From concept to ex*****on, every detail was a chance to push boundaries, break a few design rules (the fun ones), and create something that actually makes an impact. And of course, no great project is complete without late-night brainstorming, and questionable amounts of coffee! ☕️

As an extroverted Ta**us, I find energy in movement, conversation, and the art of connection—principles that also define my approach to design.
