From one time home consultations to new builds to full blown home renovations requiring the assistance of professional trade people to commercial and corporate designs, services can include the following. Space Planning ~ Having good flow in any room can make or break a good design. Designing an interior space through arrangements, partitions, built-ins and furniture placement is a must in creating harmonious space. Lighting Design ~ We use light for everything; it changes our surroundings and plays with our emotions so planning the location and type of lighting required is a critical element in any space. Window Treatments ~ Window treatments do more than offer privacy. They frame your view, provide shade and have a remarkable impact on your room decor. From curtains, blinds and shades, ensuring you have the right window treatment is fundamental in ensuring a great room design. Finish Selections ~ Finishes are another element that can make or break a great design. This process can be extremely overwhelming. I can, not only help you in making this creative process less stressful by helping you sort through the many choices of doors, trim, appliances, molding, flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting and plumbing fixtures and but also make the process enjoyable. Furniture and Textiles ~ Furniture and textiles is an integral part of the design process, in that they can add emphasis and further define a scheme. My role is to assist the client in finding the appropriate pieces and selecting textiles that complement the overall design concept. Accessory and Art Selection and Arrangements ~ It’s often the small things in our homes that say the most about who we are. Artwork and decorative objects are the finishing touches that complete any design project and a professional can help you in adding plenty of personality to your space. Color Selection ~ Color, It’s everywhere and impacts everything in our lives from how we feel to how much we eat and how well we sleep. It can have a positive impact on our lives but can also have a negative impact. Having a professional assist you can help alleviate some of the stress in ensuring you chose a color palette that’s tailored to suit your needs, lifestyle, and decor. Wall treatments ~ The best wall treatments don’t fade into the background, but make a room a work of art. With so many different wall treatments available today, a professional can assist you in taking a closer look at what is out there and what would be a great option for your space. FEE STRUCTURE:
Initial Meeting~ $100 an hour for the design consultation which is deducted against the design fee upon the hiring of PURE Interiors & Design. This fee includes evaluating all aspects of the project – expected hours of work, measurements, materials needed, etc. You will be provided with a detailed letter. Break point~ At this time you will be able to review all information and decide if you wish to commission PURE Interiors & Design. Time varies according to room size and scope of work, and is detailed in a letter following the initial consultation. The interior design fee covers the sourcing of fabrics, wall coverings, flooring, acquisition of samples and initial design drawings and boards. Break point~ At this time you may choose to implement the designs yourself at this stage. The design materials and drawings supplied will facilitate this. Implementation of work~ If you choose to have PURE Interiors & Design oversee all aspects of the job then the initial Design fee of $60/hr. still applies. A written letter will be provided to you with an explanation of your expected costs. A deposit will be required for all jobs. The hiring of tradespeople and contractors is left to the discretion of the client. As your designer I can offer advice and help over-see the work of any 3rd party hires.
