Hiring P/T Evening Cleaners

Bee OK Services has been in business for 8 years and has been offering commercial cleaning and janitorial services throughout Rossland, Trail and Castlegar for 3 years now. We would like to invite you to be a part of our team as we continue to grow and support our community.

Position: PART TIME
Hours: EVENING
Rate of Pay: $17 - $20/hr (based on experience)

Attendance/ Punctuality - This new team player must consistently be at work and on time. Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.

Dependability - Follows instructions. Responds to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions. Keeps commitments. Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures. Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly.

Duties Include
-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Cleaning and polishing light fixtures, marble surfaces and trim
-Cleaning offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas
-Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors
-Spot clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture
-Dust furniture and equipment
-Polish metalwork
-Wash walls, ceiling and woodwork
-Wash windows, door panels and sills
-Empty wastebaskets
-Transports trash and waste to disposal area
-Replenishes bathroom supplies
-Replace light bulbs
-Deliver messages
-Transport small equipment or tools
-Set up tables and chairs in meeting rooms, auditorium or hall
-Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications & Education
-Must have a keen eye for details!
-Experienced cleaning is preferred but detailed training is provided
-Following detailed instructions is essential
-Reading and writing English competently
-Basic math skills
-Knowledge of how to communicate with a cell phone
-Be able to work individually and as a team
-Good health & fitness is required as this is a physical job
-We will provide professional training, checklists, products, equipment and sanitization education
-Opportunities to promote talented and committed individuals

Requirements
-Cell phone with data for communicating and sending pictures is mandatory
-Reliable vehicle is preferred (including winter driving in Rossland)
-Minimum 3 month commitment
-Criminal Record Check is a must
-Must sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure our client’s privacy
