Old Fashion Signs - Hand Carved n Painted Back in the 1800 - 1900s all advertising signs were done through the skill and art of the Sign Painters.

They conceived the sign, laid out its shape, cut it out of wood or metal, painted it skilfully with pictures and words, and usually installed it.

Arrow directional signs are as old as stones piled a certain way pointing people to food and safety. The wooden "Arrow" signs I am showing here have been used as directional signs for thousands of years. I have done them in French and English and with numbers for a house or cottage. They are hand cut and carved and hand painted.
