When you are a cake artist and your sweet tart turns four it calls for an extra special cake. His request was an airplane camping cake with a jello lake.

This birthday cake was such a special one to create 🤍🌷

Her husband first shared the idea of tulips — a nod to her love of flowers and the beautiful season ahead as they settle back into their home. Then just days before, her son asked me if I would make his mommy a cake… and without any prompting said it should be flowers, “because mommy loves flowers.” 🥹

Some ideas just feel meant to be.

Tara truly radiates joy, like spring in full bloom. From the moment I met her, it felt like we had always been friends. Her laugh is contagious, her smile lights up a room, and her hugs have a way of filling everyone’s cup.

As my daughter says, “Tara is a cutie” 💕

This girl is the sweetest soul — biggest heart, full of s***k, and completely dances to the beat of her own drum.

Some cakes tell a story 🎣

This one was made for someone who has spent a lifetime by the water — celebrating 70 years and many steelhead caught along the way.

Hand-painted trout, sandy riverbank textures, cattails, and a little fishing line cast across the top.

This cake was enjoyed pond side at the cabin. What better way to celebrate with this special cake.
