Understanding Your Space: The First Step to Choosing the Right Counter Stool

Selecting the perfect counter stool starts with understanding the space you have. Every detail matters—from the height of your counter to the size, style, and fabric of the stool you choose.

The layout of your home plays an important role. In open-concept spaces, stools with backs, swivel features, or larger profiles can help define the area while providing comfort. In more enclosed spaces, backless or stationary stools often create a cleaner, more streamlined look.

When determining how many stools you need, a good rule of thumb is to allow 24–30 inches of space per stool to ensure comfortable seating and easy movement.

Before making your selection, consider:
• The height of your counter
• The size and scale of the stool
• The number of stools required
• The overall design of your space

Modern, warm, and stylish is the vibe of this luxury office space. Pulling elements from the Newfoundland and Labrador landscape, mainly through wood elements, various shades of deep blue, and a gallery display of local photography beautifully framed by Newfoundland Canvas. Each choice was intentional and each piece in the design has a unique story to tell. The completed space is a beautiful and functional office for the local Wellington-Altus Private Wealth team and their clients to enjoy.
