I Can Knot Canada Handcrafted Macrame made with love, positive energy & good vibes for the boho feel. Macrame has made a comeback and it's not the same macrame from the '70s.

It's become wildly trendy now with contemporary designs using better supplies and patterns. Although I do have to say the classic design plant hanger is my favourite. I remember my mother had made a macrame plant hanger in the '70s when I was a kid and I have to admit I was not impressed and thought it was rather tacky. But that hanger hung in my mom's house for decades. Now she's 92 and recen

tly had to move into a long-term care home. When I was going through her household things making decisions about what to sell, what to keep, or give away I came across her hanging plant holder. I paused. What do I do with this? I never really liked it. But I couldn't part with it. So I brought it home to my place and happily hung it with my favourite plant by the door to the deck. 😀 It is now a treasured piece that reminds me of my mom. 💜 And now I want to pass on my treasured pieces of macrame plant hangers. I hope that my designs touch you as much as they do me. Making these by hand creates an original piece each time. The pattern may be the same but each one is unique unto itself. Enjoy! Maggie
