I am very slowly finding everything to get items ready for my closing clearance sale.
Supplies that I have never offered before will be available for all seasons. The sale will be 35% off the lowest ticketed price.

I haven’t sorted the candles or melts yet. Once I do I will post the list and prices but that will be at the end of this sorting chaos.

Since stepping back from the daily upkeeping of the shop I have developed several hobbies. As many know I have found a new love for gardening and scrapbooking. Both allow me another way to express my creativity while allowing time for my medical appointments and self.

Today I had a very lovely unexpected run in with a dear friend. I was at staples to photocopy my miniature cards; my “just because“ cards.

My photocopier isn’t able to capture the fine details I have made to these little cards. I have not shown anyone… not even my bestie because I felt the pictures didn’t justify a text photo and she would be here tomorrow so I could overload her with my crazy ideas.

My friend gave me so much confidence today I decided to share; and then I sat down and calculated the costs.

While running the shop I wasn’t overly concerned about costs; I loved what I did and never charged for my time. But today was different, I was there to pay staples to photocopy my designs onto cardstock(which cannot be done at the self service). To copy 36 miniature cards; it was $0.56 per card; I still had to cut them and provide envelopes.

Well F*CK there goes that plan of selling these for $1.00 each; I can’t. I will be basically paying people to buy my cards. Am I concerned about the cost? Not overly because I really enjoyed designing these. But it does really bring up a serious issue!

Today an economic trade war boiled to the top; raising major economic concerns. Everyone is concerned about the impact to Canada; is anyone thinking about the small businesses? The local shops that are already struggling? I am thinking about the. I have already made the decision last year to close my door and in the next month to clear out a vast majority of stock and supplies. I don’t have an interest today as a small business but as a Canadian who is concerned about how this impacts me and my family. I can only imagine how this is impacting the small businesses.

Please for the love of what ever you believe in BUY LOCAL as much as you can. This is only going to get harder and harder, and if we don’t support our own communities who will?

Just let that sink in.

As it starts to get chaotic in here I thought I would give a snapshot of what 35% off looks like and there’s no tax either.

Over the past week notifications have been hitting my emails about the upcoming Country Christmas Gathering tour; which is usually very exciting around here. However this year I will not be participating. I had officially declined months ago to allow space for other local small business their opportunity to shine. That said I haven’t had the opportunity to work in the shop or sort anything until recently. The treasurers hidden behind these doors are a goldmine and many are perfect for the upcoming tour!

To help write the final chapters of my novel I am having a 2 day clearance sale. EVERYTHING is for sale! And it’s all on sale! Pictures and updates of items will follow in the coming weeks.

Please note do to my health I am not in the position to hold items after this sale. I need to take care of me so unfortunately the dates and hours are limited. If I can get my head out of my butt prior to the dates I will definitely offer and online option to my long time clients and friends.

This is the flyer for the event and more details will be coming. My husband has even offered to BBQ; I started off with a bang 6 years ago so I feel it’s only fitting I go out with a bang!

This sale is for everyone, crafter, decorator, collector of fine things and lots of items from my personal collection (umm my personal hoard) lol

Even as the warmer weather blesses us with its presence my life is still chaotic. I am taking time for myself but I wish I had more hours in the day and more fuel in my tank.

I am planning to do a clear out sale. I don’t have a set date. I thought I did but it’s not achievable for many reasons.

I will post details shortly and start posting pictures.

I will post everything here first before sharing on marketplace to allow my long time friends and supporters the first opportunities to snag some deals. More to follow.

As part of taking time for myself; my dear friends and I had a fun filled evening attending the Shrek Musical put on by Brighton Stage Productions. It was absolutely hilarious and well done.

This dresser is free. Free at own pick up and risk. You will need a big suv or a truck for this pick up. There will not be anyone available here to help with loading.

We don’t know what time we will be putting it in front of the BAM Bin. It totally depends on the weather.

This will be outside for pick up.

Please don’t ask for a hold or delivery. It is first come first serve and I am not able to do hold or deliveries.

This is free I found it one day on my way to Ottawa during Covid. It was the very first piece I flipped for the shop. It has been heavily used over the years and it the paint job is destroyed but it’s a solid piece with tons of room. You should have seen all the $hit I had packed into there.

I don’t have a measuring tape it’s about 5 feet and I put a pencil in the top drawer for size comparison.

Free stuff. I was going to put it at the end of the driveway but I feel it’s safer for vehicles in my driveway and then no one will accidentally take my bins.

EVERYTHING OUTSIDE the dumpster is free but you have to pick it up and it’s first come first serve.

I will try to add photo updates while I empty the shop.
