I’m over the moon! The gallery informed me yesterday that both of my paintings have sold! What a great experience this has been, I feel very lucky. Thanks to the Parrott Gallery and ECOAA for the opportunity!

My first from our “paint out” last week with the ECOAA. We were on a beautiful sunflower field in the Trent Hills. I’m not fast and didn’t finish but just a perfect day.

This absolutely breaks my heart. I think this is the 9th or 10th cat that I’ve trapped and sent off to Animal Control (they take them to the Humane Society but if there is no room for a feral cat then….😞). We live on a country road with an abandoned farm/barn next door and that is what “cat dumpers” are looking for. If I could, I would have kept every one and given him the love they deserve but with two cats and two dogs already, I just can’t.
I wish humans would be responsible for their pets-spay, neuter and not throw them out when they’ve tired of them.
I don’t have high hopes for this skinny little guy but I won’t have to watch him struggle through a long cold winter.

A view to the orchard…our wagon wheel sculpture is in an unusual position (the inner ring spins)…and the bunny is positively glowing! (and yes, all this rain means the grass needs cut again)
