. An original drawing of a church in Poland that survived all WWII bombing and still stands in a lovely resort town that I cannot spell in English, goes from DRAB to FAB!
Designed with reverse beveled matting in colours to support rather than subvert the artwork and finished with truvueglazing’s Museum glass and romamoulding’s distressed grey moulding from their country collection, it is a perfect example of what a great framing design can achieve. It is obviously also a great example of why the world needs custom picture framers to create these awesome designs! (Toot toot, tooting my own horn.)

What to do with jewelry that you want to keep but do not wear? Why frame it of course! These beautiful cameo brooches are elegantly set off with suede mats, a gold fillet and frame from larsonjuhl and finished under truvueglazing’s Museum glass.

Departure gift commemorating a distinguished career. I create a lot of these kinds of projects but do not end up posting many, so here you go. This piece made good use of my wizard’s mat writing feature. Using larsonjuhl’s Alto black cube moulding and finished under truvueglazing’s Museum glass.

This beautiful wood block print by Hajime Namiki was a smidge of a challenge to design but I think we nailed it.

After and before framing. This signed and numbered print by Jean Paul Lemieux got an update while still keeping the original gold leaf inner matting. We replaced the damaged top mat, added truvueglazing’s Museum glass and framed it in larsonjuhl’s Metalia Brass cube frame that looks like it made for this piece.

Professional certificates should look professional. This P. Eng licence looks amazing framed with a Jewel Blue linen mat with a Light Gold undermat under truvueglazing’s Museum glass in Larson-Juhl’s Homestead black frame with Spencer gold fillet insert.

“The Seeker of Truth” by local Ottawa working artist hulyagulerart is an original oil on linen float framed with larsonjuhl’s Metalia Brass moulding.

My client added her name to a list on Parliament Hill back in 2008 requesting one of the flags flown.

This Canadian Flag was flown in October of 2024 on the West Block and then it was sent to her.

We framed it and the letter she received with peterboromatboards’s Beveltones Black on Red matboard in larsonjuhl’s Shoji ebonized walnut frame under truvueglazing’s Museum glass.

You may now add your name to the waiting list for flags online, but you will have to wait over 100 years for your name to come up!
