Hi Everyone. Just under 4 weeks to Christmas and even less to our last business day of 2023. We will be closing the shop effective Dec 19th and will not reopen until April 1, 2024. We want to thank all of you for your support and purchases which have made 2023 one of our best years so far. We will make another announcement in early December.

We believe we can now call ourselves a “global” Etsy shop with this order from Japan. We’ve done AU, NZ, UK, Isle of Man, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, US and all of Canada. Thanks to all of our customers in all those places for finding something from our shop that you thought was worth a purchase. We will ship pretty much everywhere.

We just finished replenishing our inventory of toejacks. Now available in oak, cherry or maple. These tools are ideal for kitchenering the toes of socks produced on circular sock knitting machines or for regular mending of socks and other garments.

We are back to full operations having finished all renovations. Lots of mushrooms, yarn holders, nostepinnes, brooches and traditional turned pieces available. Custom orders considered.

We’ve heard from some customers that a number of Etsy shoppers have one of our toejacks in their shopping carts. Since we will be shutting down our shop for Jan Feb and Mar 2023 we thought to let our customers and friends know that our last shipping day until April 1, 2023, will likely be Dec 28. We want to thank our customers for letting us know about this. We also want to thank our customers and all of you that have “favored” our shop and items for your support this year.
