Sometimes a slight change in your score line completely transforms how a card feels in your hand! 🌲💜

For both of these "You brighten my day" cards, I went with a quarter-fold style. I scored and folded the front panel at exactly 1 -1/16". This creates a slim front panel that anchors the design while allowing that beautiful Berry Botanical Vellum border to peek through from the inside of the card. It's a fantastic way to maximize your patterned papers without hiding them away!

Berry Botanicals Vellum - Stampin' Up! May POM

Let’s talk about a hidden gem that is STILL available! 🌸✨

For this week's projects, I got to dive into the May Product of the Month: the Berry Botanical Vellum. If you haven't played with this specialty paper yet, the translucence is just lovely, and the vibrant patterns blend like an absolute dream with our cardstock.

My Favorite Trick: Vellum can be notoriously tricky to adhere without the glue lines showing through. But because the designs on this pack are so rich and beautifully detailed, I used a standard tape runner on the back and it completely disappeared behind the pattern! 🤫

Is it Monday already? That means it's time to feature another beautiful creation from Pam Kollross! ✨

Pam has treated us to a masterclass in layering textures! She took strips of the Florals in Bloom DSP, gave them a fun woven effect, and then topped it with a gorgeous stitched rectangle. But my absolute favorite part? That stunning vellum circle over the "You are the best" sentiment! It softens the background pattern beautifully while letting the words totally pop.

It's a great reminder that a little vellum goes a long way to make your projects extra special. 😍
