Bob got back from the Bassano Small Town Smoke Down and came home with these!!! Another Alberta company with great product. Effin'Eh Grays winning awards again. Congrats!!!! Can't say enough about this stuff. Come and check it out. GF too!

We were in Bassano this weekend for the Small Town Smoke Down, quite the weekend and the town put on a good show. We came home with a bear, but it wasn’t Mom and Dad’s this time, it was PEW PEW BAR-B-QUE pulling out a Perfect 180 and snagging her 1st pin!! We did happen to grab 3rd in the Jam Pack Steak and Potato Ancillary though!

Sunday opened up hard and poured on us with them heavy 70km winds, cook went well for the elements but our ribs kept us out of it, even though we thought they were our best protein of the day. Here’s how she played out:

Pulled us 5th overall of 24 teams

Well it was one heck of a weekend to open up the season for EFFIN’EH. Great neighbours, catching up with the crew after the off season and of course lots of good food and drinks.
Embers and Ice Pitmaster Challenge and their team put on an awesome event!

PEW PEW BAR-B-QUE did her version of the ultimate hotdog and walked away with a 4th place finish, and yes, Dad cleaned up the leftovers!

Our first contest cook of the year went fairly well too, always a couple hiccups along the way but here’s how she played out against the other 23 teams:

Good enough to land us the RGC anddd to also welcome us to the 700+ Club, which we are super effin jacked about!
