As our 9th Anniversary celebration winds down, let me introduce (or re-introduce) the fabulous team we have at PCW. This milestone is one that could not be achieved without help and we are blessed with fabulous people to work with.
Where does it all start? With Sheri (me) and Matt. We have been married 30 years this year and have survived 9 years as co-owners of a retail store by doing something we have tried to always do: celebrate our differences and lean into our strengths. As Matt says, "We stay in our own lane." I am the creative, the marketer, the one with the wacky ideas. He is the logistics (shipping and receiving), the numbers, the technology ... and when you tell us you find our website so easy to navigate - that's all him.
In the coming days, you'll meet more of our team, and I asked them to answer a few questions for me. Here are my answers below - and as for Matt? All you need to know is that when he's not working, he's golfing, thinking about golfing and wishing he was golfing! 🤣

What's one craft supply you couldn't live without—and why?
Ink - for stenciling, watercolouring, stamping - I need colour in my life.
If you could teach every crafter one tip or trick, what would it be?
Enjoy the process of creating as much as you enjoy the end result.
When you're not in the store, what would we most likely find you doing?
Sitting in my backyard, reading.
What's something people are always surprised to learn about you?
I don't like peanut butter.
What’s your favourite colour combo right now?
Blues and teals, like the ocean.
If you could spend a day crafting with anyone—past or present—who would you choose?

What little thing always makes your day brighter?
My morning coffee, and hugs from my hubby and kids.
What's your favourite part about helping customers at PCW?
Seeing what you make and know that you are a) using your stuff and b) you are prioritizing time for yourself.
