Introducing the 2026 Graduating Parliament! This is a meaningful project I do each year for a teacher-friend in Calgary. Each year, she has me crochet a wise (and funky) owl for one of her graduating students. I love doing it and supporting a teacher who so obviously loves her students.

Miss May was definitely wondering if Farmer's Market season was upon us. The evenings are so bright, the temperatures so warm AND the coop down the road even saw a ladybug. Then boom, snow. A lot.of.snow. Why is it so hard to accept that it's still winter?

Calli. She's the 1 in 10,000 females in the deer species to have antlers. Differences are sometimes hard...not all the other fawns get it. She sometimes gets teases bc of those differences. But her mum and dad encourage her and remind her that she isn't a mistake, that she's been made uniquely - so rock those antlers Calli, rock them.

Reginald the Rhino is stylish and strapping in his...tight pants. Also, no one has a horn like his does. Unfortunately, he has a tiny tiny bladder and when nature calls...he'll pull over and p*e in the bush...atleast he has a nice pair of ginch (is that word even a thing anymore?) to show off. He's not going to explain to you that's he's not from around here or that no, he doesn't know Bob from Australia, and he most definitely minds if you want to touch his spikes.
