BABY SHEEP
We had the pleasure of pattern testing these adorable sheep for . Our inspiration was two lambs (Zoey & Zozo) that we had the joy of bottle feeding this spring! A photo of them is on the last slide.
The baby sheep pattern is part of the baby barnyard bundle from . These patterns are all so cute, are no sew, and work up so quickly!

… but modified to be an invasive European Green Crab! We just realize we never posted about these guys! These crabs were custom makes that also taught us a few things!
European green crabs are an invasive species of crab in many parts of the world, including the coast of British Columbia. They likely came here as stow aways in the ballast tanks of ships. The problem with them is that they reproduce quickly and eat our native crabs’ food. They also damage eelgrass beds that are important habitats for our native fish species.

These crabs can be identified by 5 sharp spines on the side of each eye and 3 rounded lobes between the eyes. Fisheries Canada recommends to report any green crab sitings.

HUMBLE HEART
We were instantly drawn to this heart design by .co .
This heart means more than its anatomical design, for us it is a symbol of struggle, perseverance, and inspiration.
We also know 4 people who have recently had a heart surgery, and we are inspired by each one of their stories. ❤️🫀
It was truly an honour to be a part of this testing group and to hear about everyone else’s connections to the heart.
This anatomical heart would also make the perfect teaching tool!
If you crochet, this pattern is very well written, with step by step instructions and many photos.
